On Saturday September 20th, 2025
Word Dance Theater, a professional modern dance group doing a performance happening at Glen Echo Park's Spanish Ballroom, needs volunteers to help with the following:
Duties:
- set up and break down folding chairs
- be available to the stage manager to be go between from front of house to backstage
- sweep flower petals off stage once
Time frame:
- arrive 2:00pm
- done by 4:30pm
- you will be able to watch the performance
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
