Who We Are

Seneca Creek is home to the Gaithersburg Cares Hub. The Gaithersburg Cares Hub is a Volunteer Fueled Resource Consolidation Center connecting Gaithersburg Residents to important resources and services. We are currently addressing Food Insecurity through In-Community Distributions, Drive Through Pantries, Home delivery of groceries for people quarantined with Covid, and Choice Pantry during scheduled open hours. We also provide diapers and infant formula for those in crisis. Serve in our food pantry, stock shelves, pack bags of food and infant items, or deliver food to families home-bound and in crisis.

Children under 13 must be accompanied by a responsible adult to volunteer.

What We Do

At the Cares Hub, volunteers will have the opportunity to prepare food bags for in neighborhood distributions, help with the food pantry, bag diapers for our infant and toddler program, help organize food shipments, etc. There are many opportunities to serve.
