MUM Mid-County United Ministries

MUM supports residents of Montgomery County with access to a full choice food pantry and emergency financial assistance to prevent evictions, utility cutoffs and to obtain medical prescriptions (specifically zip codes 20853, 20895, 20896, 20901, 20902, 20906, 20910, and 20912. MUM is part of Montgomery County's Emergency Assistance Coalition, and is a partner agency with the Capital Area Food Bank and many other local organizations. 

MUM's offices and in-office food pantry are located on the seventh floor of the South Tower of Westfield Wheaton. MUM depends on many volunteers to help us serve clients through our food pantry operations and emergency financial assistance. We need volunteers to help with the weekly food distributions, food drives, data entry, communications, fundraising, and other aspects of our operations.
