Hope Connections for Cancer Support is having its annual Health Fair at Tanger Outlets-National Harbor on Saturday, October 14. We need the following volunteer time slots and duties fulfilled by this Friday, October 6. Please contact Teresa at info@hopeconnectionsforcancer.org if interested. 20 volunteers needed- so small groups are welcome to join!

Date: Saturday, October 14
Event Location: Community Health Fair, at Tanger Outlets, National Harbor (6800 Oxon Hill Rd, National Harbor, MD 20745)
Volunteer shifts: Morning shift from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, Afternoon shift from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm, or all day from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Volunteer Duties: Volunteers are needed from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm for setting up vendor tents, tables and chairs, (includes physical labor of carrying tables, chairs, etc.), directing vendors where to register, and directing shoppers to visit the event.
Volunteers are needed from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm to assist vendors at their tables as needed, and to assist with breaking down tents, tables, chairs from 2:30 pm-3:30 pm (includes physical labor of carrying tables, chairs, etc.)
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
