Volunteers are needed to:
1) assist with parade setup and help artists pull floats;
2) assist with festival vendor setup and help vendors to unload their art;
3) assist stage managers and entertainment coordinator for 3 festival stages;
All volunteers receive a free volunteer T-shirt and $5 food/beverage voucher.
Volunteers are required to attend one 2-hour orientation session on either September 30 or October 7 from 11am-1pm. SSL hours available for the day of event and for attending the orientation session.
Volunteers are required to work at least one of four 4-hour shifts from 7am-11am, from 9am-1pm, from 12pm-4pm, or from 2pm-6pm. Volunteers may work more than one shift up to 8 hours.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
