2023 MCPS Back to School Fair- Student Volunteers Needed

Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) is hosting the 2023 Back to School Fair on Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM, at Westfield Wheaton Mall (11160 Veirs Mill Rd, Wheaton, MD 20902).

MCPS is looking for student volunteers (8th-12th grade) to support this program by helping to set up tables, escort vendors to their tables, support the resource fair, and breakdown the event.

SSL Shift: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM (6 SSL Hours)

***Attendance at the virtual Back to School Fair Orientation is also REQUIRED.
There are two sessions being offered:

• Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from 6:30 - 7:30 PM (Zoom) OR

• Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 6:30 - 7:30 PM (Zoom)

***Student volunteers will earn 1 SSL hour for this orientation.

***Attendance at a virtual Back to School Fair Orientation is also required. This orientation will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, OR Wednesday, August 23, 2023, from 6:30-7:30 PM on Zoom. Student volunteers will also earn 1 SSL hour for this preparation event.

Student volunteers must be entering grades 8-12 (this Fall) and are responsible for their own transportation.
