Description

Our annual summer picnic is a time for families that have loved ones with Down syndrome to gather together and meet other families in a relaxed setting.  To help ensure the success of this event, we need volunteers to assist with setting up, serving food, leading activities, and cleaning up.  Students needing SSL hours are encouraged to volunteer.  If you are an MCPS student, please use an email address other than your MCPS address when you sign up. Please review the available slots and use the SignUP Genius to register!

If you sign up, we will be counting on your to attend.  Volunteers that work at least two hours will be provided lunch catered by Jersey Mike's.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian  and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
