We have had a lot of responses with interest in our event on June 17 and June 18! Volunteers need to sign up in advance online here or contact our volunteer coordinator at lesliecase@aol.com.
We need volunteers in all three phases. There are jobs for experienced riders and jobs for those without any experience. Students can get up to 8 hours of SSL credit per day and those without experience can work our early morning parking team, afternoon parking relief or gate, dressage score runner or show jumping jump crew.
For those with horse experience the dressage warm up and cross country jump judge (should be high school age minimum) are good positions.
Volunteers receive lunch and snacks throughout the day and an hour of SSL credit for each hour volunteered.
The funds raised at our horse trials allow us to maintain the open space at Bittersweet Field and provide funding for our club that teaches horsemanship to riders.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
