County Executive Marc Elrich in coordination with the Montgomery County Office of Human Rights is hosting the Juneteenth Celebration held at the BlackRock Center for the Arts located at 12901 Town Commons Drive in Germantown on Saturday June 17th. We are in search of volunteers to help with the various activities throughout the day.
We will need help with the information booth, family games, arts and crafts activities, other activities, and event set up and break down. It is an indoor and outdoor event.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
