Join us from 3:30 – 5:30 pm on May 19 for a special activity and discussion centered around the Hidden Disability Sunflower. Learn about how to identify, communicate and resonate with individuals who identify as having a hidden or invisible disabilities. Hear from Main Street staff members about their own experiences with hidden disabilities and discuss ways we can use the Hidden Disability Sunflower in our schools, communities and workplaces.
Students who attend will receive Student Service Learning (SSL) hours for participating.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
