Truck Touch is a community event that brings trucks, construction rigs, delivery trucks, emergency vehicles and buses to our school parking lot. Kids love all the vehicles they see every day, however, they aren't usually allowed to get up close and check them out. TRUCK TOUCH gives kids the opportunity to interact with their favorite vehicle.
In addition to cool trucks, we also have fun carnival activities like a moon bounce, face painting, bean bag toss and more!
This fundraising event is more than just a lot of fun; it is a critical source of funding that allows us to maintain our quality early childhood education. Suburban Nursery School is a small non-profit, we raise most of our money (outside of tuition) through community fundraisers. Our most successful fundraiser is TRUCK TOUCH.
We need student volunteers to help run activities, direct crowds, assist with ticket and food sales. We are also in need of artistically talented volunteers to help with facepainting.
If you like events and working with kids, this is the opportunity for you!
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours.
