Volunteers will help organization members to set up booths for an indoor yard sale. This sale benefits our group and the community.
LOCATION: This event is held at Seneca Creek Community Church in Gaithersburg
***This is an INDOOR, In-Person event***
Tasks will include:
-Handing out bags to shoppers
-Helping in the area where large items such as car seats and bouncers are sold
-Collecting large shopping bags as shoppers exit
-Helping shoppers carry purchases to the curb
-Helping to move items that will be donated to a local charity from the sale space to the donation area
***Please note that food will not be provided. You may bring snacks/drinks with you but there will be no access to refrigerator or microwave. You will need to eat/drink in the lobby area or outside due to facility rules.
***COVID 19 Protocols: Masks are encouraged but not required at this time. If regulations change, you will be emailed.
If you have been diagnosed with or exposed to COVID 19 in the days prior to the event, please follow current MCPS regulations based on vaccination status- if you would not be allowed in school please do not attend this event.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
