After such a successful event during the summer of 2021 and 2022, Great Falls Foundation is pleased to host our 3rd Annual Potomac River Clean-Up Day! This year we want to get together as a community in celebration of Earth day, as a day to celebrate not just our favorite river, but also our entire home! It's ever important that we come together to help restore our favorite playground to the pristine condition it should be in. Every piece of trash removed is one less on the river after all! Plus what's not to like about spending a few hours on a fine spring day to root through the woods and rocks to clean them of garbage?
Don't worry about bringing anything but yourselves --- we will provide gloves and trash bags!
But wait, there's more! The Great Falls Foundation also will provide food and drinks. All we ask for is your time, sweat, and hopefully no tears, so we can help with the continued restoration of our favorite backyard river.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
