Calling all playful friends! Let's Play America is looking for dedicated volunteers to assist in our upcoming play event! The 13th Annual Mid-Winter Play Day will be held on Sunday, February 12th, and will be split between two neighboring locations: the Takoma Park Community Center (7500 Maple Ave) and Piney Branch Elementary School (7510 Maple Ave). Volunteers must attend for the full 5 hours, including set up and clean up of the event.
We advise that volunteers bring their own water bottles and snacks. There will be some refreshments provided for attendees.
SSL forms will be provided.
Volunteers Must:
-Be able to lift and carry up to 25lbs
-Have transportation to and from the event
-Complete and submit Let's Play America's Volunteer Form
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
