From planning event details and calling past participants to providing safety and support for participants at the event, volunteers make Walk MS happen, and are the foundation of why Walk MS is the largest walking fundraising event in the country.

Below are our COVID 19 Safety Precautions

Masks are required indoors and strongly encouraged outdoors. This event is outdoors. We will have extra masks if needed.
- Stay home if you experience any COVID-19 symptoms within 24 hours prior to an event or are exposed to anyone who is positive for COVID-19 within 14 days prior to an event.
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required to attend a Walk MS event, but we strongly encourage everyone to get vaccinated to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
- We have planned the event to allow for physical distance between staff, volunteers and participants whenever possible.
- Tents and displays are more spread out to allow for more physical distance.
- We encourage volunteers to register to volunteer for Walk MS before the event to avoid crowds at the volunteer check in area.
- The Food Area will be grab-and-go with bottled, canned or boxed water. There is no single-serve coffee.
- We will routinely clean and sanitize shared spaces and high-touch surfaces, and ensure adequate handwashing supplies and hand sanitizer.
