The Germantown Elementary School PTA will host a trunk-or-treat for students with additional games and activities. Volunteers are needed for the following tasks:
- Setup of tents, tables, light equipment, games, and prizes
- Managing of games and prizes
- Assisting lining up children for costume parade
- Takedown and cleanup of tents, tables, light equipment, and games
Following the games and activities, students will trunk-or-treat.
The following health and safety protocols will be put in place:
- The event is outdoors to reduce the likelihood of COVID transmission.
- Registrants, attendees, and volunteers will be told they cannot attend if they have any COVID symptoms, and anyone with symptoms will be asked to leave.
- All activity and game stations will have hand sanitizer available.
- Masks will be encouraged for anyone not distancing themselves by six feet, and extra masks will be available at the event.
- Games and activities will space participants six feet apart.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
