Join So What Else as we support comrades in building a sports platform for John Bayne Elementary School!
Giving Together needs 75 volunteers to partner with parents, teachers & the local community to build this new recreation space. It will give more than 400 Bayne students & other area kids an exciting opportunity for sports & play activities.
This project is: rain or shine & suitable for all ages & skill levels.
VOLUNTEERS MUST REPORT ONSITE BY 8AM FOR TRAINING & ORIENTATION
- Volunteers should be age 16+ and will assemble the multi-sport court & adjacent play spaces.
- Build Day will be a safe environment & requires no saws or heavy power tools. All skill levels welcome.
- Wear comfortable clothing & strong shoes that can handle dirt & paint splatters; closed-toe shoes strongly recommended.
- Gloves will be provided for projects that need them.
- Lot & street parking available in surrounding neighborhood.
- Breakfast, lunch & water will be provided for all volunteers
