The intern will work within the Education and Community Engagement department at Montgomery County Media, gaining hands-on experience across a range of media production disciplines. Responsibilities may include podcast production (writing, hosting, and producing), television production, video editing, and the operation of camera, lighting, and audio equipment. The intern will collaborate closely with experienced media professionals and may also assist in facilitating workshops or projects involving teen participants.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
