Join us along with Germantown HELP and participating local churches to distribute BACK to SCHOOL food on Saturday, 8/22/2026. From 8am-11am at Journey's Crossing Church. We will focus on helping our local community that is experiencing food insecurity. Tasks include setting up and tearing down for the event, which we will setup in the parking lot for drive-through pickup. Carrying and staging food bags, along with distributing the bags. This is an OUTSIDE event. Rain or shine. Please dress appropriately. Wear sunscreen. We will provide water and tents.
TIME: 7:45am - 11:00am. Parents to pick up no later than 11am. 3 SSL hours will be provided.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
