About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented volunteer to manage our established grant application process. For over 12 years, GO Rides has successfully secured funding to support our essential staff and community initiatives. As our long-term Grant Coordinator prepares for retirement, we are looking for a successor to maintain this vital stream of support.
Responsibilities:
Monitor Opportunities: Review incoming grant offers to determine if they align with our organization’s mission.
Update & Submit: Use our existing, successful grant templates to apply for recurring funding.
Data Coordination: Collaborate with the Treasurer and Chairperson to gather updated fiscal numbers and organizational data.
Project Tracking: Ensure applications are submitted accurately and on time throughout the year.
Impact of Your Work: The funds you help secure directly support:
Essential contractors (IT support and our 24/7 emergency phone).
Community events like Community Day in Olney.
Local outreach, including Chamber of Commerce membership and fundraiser materials for events like Bingo.
Training & Transition: You won't be doing this alone! Our current coordinator will be available to mentor and assist you through May 31.
