Want to earn SSL hours AND be part of something EPIC?
Join our Student Volunteer Team for an empowering community event that brings neighbors together, supports families, and helps people understand their rights during major county changes.
We need enthusiastic, friendly students to help make the night run smoothly and make every guest feel welcome! You’ll play a huge role in the success of this event.
⭐ Volunteer Roles (Pick Your Adventure!)
✅ Registration Table Rockstars
Be the first friendly face people see! Greet residents as they arrive, check them in, hand out materials, and help set a warm, positive tone for the night.
✅ Headset Helpers (Interpretation Support)
Make sure our Spanish-speaking neighbors feel included and supported!
You’ll distribute and collect interpretation headsets.
✅ Welcome Squad
Love greeting people? This role is for you! Stand near the entrance and offer warm smiles, helpful directions, and positive energy. You’ll help make the event feel safe, welcoming, and organized.
✅ Information Table Crew
Help residents find what they need! You’ll hand out flyers, answer basic questions, and connect attendees with the right EPIC volunteer.
✅ Community Navigators
Walk the room and help people get seated, find the interpreters, ask questions, or connect with the right guest speaker. If you like moving around and helping everywhere — this is your spot.
✅ Q&A Mic Runners
Help us keep the conversation flowing! You’ll bring the microphone to audience members during the Q&A. It’s a super important job and keeps the room energized and engaged.
✅ Event Vibe Crew
Help create an EPIC atmosphere!
Set up our welcome area, arrange materials, put up signs, organize the space, and keep everything looking clean and professional throughout the night.
