CHARM is looking for a volunteer Treasurer to join our Board of Directors!
If you’re detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about animal rescue, this is a wonderful way to make a meaningful impact behind the scenes of a 100% volunteer-run, Maryland-based, animal rescue. CHARM Rescue is on track to find forever homes for more than 500 dogs and cats in 2025.
Our Treasurer helps keep CHARM’s mission running smoothly by:
* Maintaining accurate bookkeeping and verifying receipts
* Preparing budgets and reconciling financial statements
* Managing grant funds, deposits, and issuing checks
* Supporting the team with clear, transparent financial reporting
Experience with nonprofit finances or QuickBooks is a plus, but dedication, integrity, and a love for animals are the most important qualities for this position.
