Join in the fun and help support Takoma Park's favorite event: Monster Bash! Monster Bash participants will get to partake in crafts, games, food music and fun activities.
Volunteer duties include, but are not limited to, set up and break down of the event as well as manning activity stations throughout the event. We are looking for outgoing and friendly people, and while all jobs are not physically demanding, they all do require the ability to work on uneven ground and lots of walking.
Volunteer check-in will be at the Takoma Park Community Center (7500 Maple Ave, Takoma Park, MD 20912) in the Azalea Room. Volunteer vests, badges and periodic breaks will be provided. This event is intended to be outside so please prepare accordingly.
Report time is 10:00am. Please meet at the front desk of the Takoma Park Community Center (7500 Maple Ave, Takoma Park MD 20912).
There will be several different stations for you to work in and we will assign positions when you arrive. There are two areas that need to be set up, one at 10:15am and one at 12:00pm.
Refreshments will be provided for volunteers.
The estimated end time of the event will be 4pm and breakdown is anticipated to take until 5pm.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the organization directly with any questions and/or concerns.
