Create pieces to incorporate into the Yarn Bomb panels that decorate Wheaton every fall. These should be two-dimensional and can be granny squares, flowers, real or imaginary creatures, or other crochet or knit creations in acrylic yarn - of any size or shape in order to fill up 20"x60" or 54"x45" sized panels.

If requesting SSL credit, hours will be awarded at time of transfer:
- 1 SSL hour for the equivalent of 4 6x6" pieces of plain knitting or crochet
- 1 SSL hour for the equivalent of 2 6x6" pieces of knitting or crochet that includes multiple colors, patterns or other design elements.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety and privacy at any time the student is interacting with the nonprofit and its clients. The nonprofit organization will determine the number of SSL hours awarded based on the evidence submitted. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns. This service activity is designed to be completed within the safety of the student’s home.
