Volunteer Opportunity for students (SSL) and adults:
Rockville Science Center's annual Rockville Science Day. A 34-yearar tradition at Montgomery College's Rockville Campus. We need a handful of volunteers for setup on the evening of Saturday, April 26, from 6 PM to 9 PM. We need 35 Volunteers on Sunday, April 27, from 9 AM to 6 PM (in shifts).
About Rockville Science Day:
This Rockville tradition, now in its 34rd year, will be held from noon - 5 p.m. at Montgomery College, Rockville Campus, 51 Mannakee St. The free event offers individuals and families a chance to experience hands-on science and technology-related exhibits, activities, games, and demonstrations from 100 local organizations and businesses.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
