Position Overview:
We are seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals passionate about making
a meaningful difference in the lives of the students in need. As a volunteer in
Grants Research, Applications, and Management, you will play a pivotal
role in advancing our mission. Your expertise will help secure vital funding to
sustain and expand our programs, directly impacting the lives of children in
need.
Responsibilities:
- Research Grants: Identify and evaluate grant opportunities aligned with the mission and goals of Helping Hands for Humanity.
- Application Development: Prepare compelling grant applications and proposals, including drafting narratives, budgets, and required documentation.
- Grant Management: Oversee awarded grants, ensuring compliance with funding guidelines, timely reporting, and effective utilization of funds.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Board of Directors and program leaders to align grant opportunities with organizational priorities and strategic initiatives.
- Database Management: Maintain records of grant applications, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
- Ability to analyze funding opportunities and align them with organizational needs.
- Preferred experience in grant writing, research, or fundraising for non-profit organizations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
