Join us at Journey's Crossing with Germantown HELP,
and other local participating churches as we help local families get ready for
the school year by providing food to those experiencing food insecurity.
Families receiving food have pre-registered through Germantown HELP. Working together, we will make sure they receive a warm welcome and provide practical support that meets real need.

Volunteer Opportunities
~Set up and tear down the drive-through distribution
~Stage and organize food bags
~Carry food to distribution areas
~Load food into vehicles and greet families
What to Know
~This is an outdoor event and will take place rain or
shine.
~Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.
~We recommend bringing sunscreen.
~Water and shade tents will be provided.
Student Service Learning
(SSL) Students will receive 3 SSL hours for serving.
Come spend a few hours making a practical difference for families in our
community. Every bag shared is a reminder that no one has to face life's
challenges alone. Join us to make a positive difference in our world and
local community. You don't want to miss this event!
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
