Join Manna Food Center for a virtual potluck lunch as Manna staff, participants, and volunteers discuss how short-term food charity can lead to long-term justice. The conversation will feature two special guests from the faith community: Rabbi Adam Raskin, Congregation Har Shalom, and Rev. Kendra Smith, Kingdom Fellowship AME Church staff. They will be joined by Jenna Umbriac, Director of Programs and Policies for Manna Food Center. The guests will offer reflections about how charitable service helps move our community forward to more racial and economic justice. This virtual gathering will be Wednesday, July 15th from 12:00pm-1:30pm. We look forward to breaking bread with you! (There are no SSL hours associated with participating in the event.)
