Extraordinary Minds in MCPS is a Forum to learn how students with autism are educated in Montgomery County Public Schools. The goal of xMinds is to improve the educational outcomes of all students on the autism spectrum in Montgomery County. We inform parents about public school placements and services for students across the autism spectrum in Montgomery County, Maryland, a county that supports roughly 2,300 autistic students. Our Forum is an important service that helps parents participate meaningfully as members of their child’s Individual Education Program (IEP) team. Recreation for students four years old and older will be provided by Kids Being Kids. Spanish language interpretation will be available for all breakout sessions.
