3rd Annual Takoma/Langley Diwali Festival

Free, famiily-friendly outdoor festival celebrating the Hindu "festival of light", Diwali, which celebrates the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness.  Classical, folk and Bolllywood-style dance performances, drummers, storytelling, and concerts by Ganesh Band (Bollywood-style) and Raag Rang: Ta Thoi telling the story of Diwali with traditional instruments, narration and dance. Delicious Indian food by Indigo, jewelry, clothing, gifts and housewares. Noon-5:30pm at Hampshire Place, Takoma Park, MD 20912
