Who We Are
Kensington Arts Theatre (KAT) is the resident theatre company of the Kensington Town Hall. We are entering our 18th season.
Our mainstage mission is: TO PURSUE AND ENACT PROVOCATIVE MUSICAL THEATER AND PLAYS WHICH EVOKE QUESTIONS AND CHALLENGE PRESUMPTIONS ABOUT THE WORLD AROUND US.
2nd Stage Family Theatre mission is : to provide young performers (ages 10-18) with an enjoyable but challenging theatrical experience that results in condensed versions of classic musicals that are short and lively enough to please kids, yet sophisticated and polished enough to entertain adults.
What We Do
We are a community theatre company that performs plays and musicals for adults and children. Our childrens theatre, KAT 2nd stage trains youth in stage presence, poise, voice through performing in youth versions of broadway musicals.
