Altrusa International of Montgomery County, Inc.

We are a community based, community service, non-profit organization, part of Altrusa International, Inc. The Montgomery County Club members and more recently the Club Foundation have been helping residents of Montgomery County for over 40 years.

We are a community service organization with a focus on literacy, but also supporting other non profits with hands on volunteers. We purchase and donate books to fist and second grade children at a Title 1 school. Our members also work with The Children's Inn at NIH, Stepping Stone Shelter, Medstar Thrift Store, Shepherd's Table, and others We also "Adopt a Family" during the holidays.
