Friends of Patients at the NIH

Friends at NIH is a 501c(3) founded in 1984 to help patients stay in research protocols and receive treatment by helping cover housing, transportation and basic living needs. Friends at NIH provides emotional, financial and logistical support to patients while they are receiving groundbreaking and life-saving treatments at the NIH."

Friends at NIH covers emergency needs of patients receiving treatment at the National Institutes of Health. We support research and hope by providing local housing, transportation, meals, outings and covering basic needs of patients and their families.
