The MCFJC Foundation enhances the services of the Montgomery County Family Justice(FJC) Center by providing leadership, advocacy, awareness and additional funds necessary to support families affected by domestic violence and end abuse in our community. Among our more than two dozen projects, we provide funds for families affected by domestic violence for crisis services such as emergency transportation and “Emergency Care Kits”, as well as programs that provide for long-term stability such and job enhancement training, counseling for children exposed to domestic violence and financial literacy support. Through interactive workshops and conferences and innovative programming in our middle and high schools, we outreach to our youth to educate and inform them on how to develop healthy and positive relationships, the warning signs of an unhealthy relationship and financial awareness. Our goal is end the cycle of violence in future generations through early intervention and education.
