The mission of the Montgomery County Volunteer Center is to mobilize people and resources to deliver creative solutions to community problems. We operate a variety of programs and services to connect individuals, groups and businesses that are interested in volunteerism and service, with non-profit and public agencies. We manage a clearinghouse of information on volunteer opportunities with more than 800 public and private non-profit agencies in Montgomery County and surrounding jurisdictions.

Volunteers who work directly with the Volunteer Center support our office and online database of organizations and volunteer opportunities. We work directly with adult and student volunteers for our events such as MLK Day of Service, the Montgomery Serves Awards, and other large community events.
