What We Do
MCAEL has a variety of volunteer needs depending on the time of year and events we have planned:
-Event volunteers - Help with our annual fundraiser (Grown Up Spelling Bee for Adult English Programming); help with tabling events.
-Help with events to distribute laptops to English language learners - helpful to be multi-lingual and/or able to provide basic technical assistance
-Multi-lingual translators are always needed for events, meetings, etc.
-Office administration volunteers - filing, scanning, correspondence, creative project work
-Student Volunteers can help with translation, office administration, technical computer assistance, and event support
- MCAEL Board, Committees, and Community Grant Panel (see www.mcael.org for details)
