Who We Are

Creating greater awareness of learning disabilities and ADHD among parents, professionals and the general public. Improving education, employment and social opportunities for persons with learning disabilities. Educating parents and young adults for their role as advocate/self-advocate. Connecting parents and young adults with learning disabilities to community resources.

What We Do

LDAMC is the local Montgomery County chapter of the national LDA. We are a totally volunteer-run, member driven association, and an independent 501c3. We are member-driven and our membership includes individuals with learning disabilities, parents of children with learning disabilities, and professionals who work with individuals with learning challenges. LDAMC offers the community information and help finding local resources for individuals with learning disabilities at all ages. We offer several informational programs throughout the year, networking events, and social events. All of our programs are open to the entire community, not only members.
