Layhill Community Free Methodist Church

Layhill Community Church seeks to provide opportunities for its' members(non-recruiting): to minister to needs within the local community,to mentor children and youth(specifically at-risk ),to support global efforts to assist those in need.

Layhill Community Church is a multi-cultural(over 25 nations) and multi-generational congregation whose members predominantly reside in the Silver Spring area. Locally, Layhill Community Church has partnered MUM(Mid-County United Ministries) to provide food for the local community. Araminta, a non-profit mobilizing the community to end human trafficking,is also supported through donations and volunteering. Partnerships with Linkages to Learning have allowed Layhill Community Church to provide summer camp(5 Star Kids Camp) for children in our area. A free character-based afterschool club(Good News Club) is held for elementary students from Georgian Forest Elementary School.
