Who We Are

The International Cancer Alliance for Research & Education (ICARE) is devoted to creating a partnership in education and research among patients, physicians, and medical researchers. The mission of ICARE is threefold: (1) to organize investigative teams for each cancer type, among the medical, research, and patients communities; as a result, patients and their primary care physicians are provided with user friendly, comprehensive information about established treatment options as well as recent therapeutic advances; (2) to support and hasten the movement of new research information from the laboratory to the patient; (3) to serve as an active advocate for creativity and innovative thinking in cancer research. At the community level, ICARE is partnering with local high school (ICARE Bioinformatics Scholars), local organizations (Lions, Rotary, Kiwanis Clubs, Churches etc) and Small Businesses to identify local cancer patients and then assist patients and their doctors access global medical solutions, clinical trials, and cutting-edge research. We invite you to join the ICARE Campaign to bring about a new kind of personalized healthcare for your friends and loved ones with cancer. Around the globe, ICARE is organizing top scientists and clinicians into networks that permit interaction of local patients and doctors with some of the top medical minds in the world.
