Brookside Gardens

Brookside Gardens' mission, as a public garden, is to foster appreciation for the art of gardening and the science of horticulture through plant collections and displays, learning opportunities and special events. Brookside Gardens is part of Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission.

Volunteers are an integral part of the Brookside Gardens community. Every year, hundreds of dedicated volunteers work with staff in the Gardens, greenhouses, and conservatories. Volunteers also help at the information desk and gift shop, lead tours, and assist with special events and educational programs.
