Academy Child Development Center, Inc.

 We have welcomed volunteers back in our programs. All student volunteers MUST be vaccinated.

To comply with the OCC (Office of Child Care) staff to student ratio, per group size regulations, all volunteers need to be at least 16 years of age to earn SSL hours.

Academy offers the Building Blocks for Life philosophy - the foundation from which all learning takes place for the future. Children grow in a nurturing environment that promotes safety and security. When children are guided to live and play together in an atmosphere of mutual respect and support, they develop positive character values. By encouraging creativity, exploration, and discovery children acquire a love of learning and a sense of self. Specific MSDE educational goals are published in our Curriculum Objective and Themes flyer. Academy is dedicated to the worlds future - its children.

School-Age Homework Helper

• Assist elementary school students with understanding their homework assignments.
• Help develop study skills and learning approaches for solving math problems.
• Small and Large Group games/activities also available.

Early Childhood Helper

• Assist early childhood students with social-emotional development.
• Help students with fine and gross motor development through craft projects and outdoor activities.
