C3 Food Chest (Calvary Pentecostal Ministry)

CPM Food Bank (C3 Food Chest) is a trusted partner in addressing food insecurity for individuals, seniors, and families with children throughout Montgomery County. In partnership with the Capital Area Food Bank of Washington DC, we provide consistent, equitable monthly distributions of reliable, nutritious food to help bridge resource gaps, strengthen family stability, uphold dignity, and support the well-being of children and caregivers in our community. Families with children can call when they need support, and a designated volunteer near the church will open the Food Chest to provide what they need. When there is no scheduled distribution, neighbors can still stop by, and we will provide food from our pantry.

Once a month, we provide free food to the community, and our volunteers are on-site to receive the truck, unbox and sort products and produce, set them out on tables, and help guide our clients on the day of distribution. They help them carry food to their car, as needed, then after the distribution, they help repack what is left and clean the sanctuary where the tables were set up.
