Rock Creek Foundation for Mental Health, Inc,.

Who We Are

For more than 50 years, Rock Creek Foundation (RCF) has empowered individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, traumatic brain injuries, and co-occurring mental health diagnoses to live meaningful, independent lives within their communities. We provide comprehensive residential, behavioral health, employment, and community support services, operating more than 18 community-based homes throughout Maryland where individuals receive 24-hour support while building the skills and confidence to thrive with dignity, purpose, and inclusion.

What We Do

Volunteers will work alongside Rock Creek Foundation staff, community members, and residents to beautify four of our residential homes. Activities include spreading mulch, planting flowers, shrubs, and small trees, building and refreshing garden beds, pulling weeds, trimming bushes, laying topsoil, installing solar pathway lights, cleaning outdoor living spaces, and completing other light landscaping projects. No prior landscaping experience is necessary, and all tools, supplies, lunch, and refreshments will be provided.
