Kathak Nartan Inc

Kathak Nartan Inc is a non-profit organization that teaches Indian Classical Dance called Kathak to both children and adults to the local community. We teach culture, history, footwork, rhythm, and art form. We also prepare and perform at various cultural events including a bi-annual celebration of the kathak dance form in front of a large audience at local MCPS schools.

Volunteers organize, sort, build sets and props including costume, decor, build website, stage management, etc.
