Who We Are

At Zion Baptist Church, two of our primary goals are to educate students and empower those in suffering. We educate & empower young people through acts of service, art, and mentorship, with a keen focus on building up our community at large. Over the years, Zion has seen growth in its membership, ministries, and impact in the community. Zion aims to serve this present age with the strength of its past, and the hopes of the future while maintaining its focus on discipleship and evangelism.

We are also a proud partner of the National Center for Children and Families (NCCF) and host of a yearly Freedom School summer education & enrichment program.  NCCF’s Freedom Schools have sites all across the District of Columbia through after-school programming along with providing six-week summer camps.
