Association of Tennis Recreationals

The Association of Tennis Recreationals is dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community of tennis enthusiasts. We provide opportunities for individuals of all ages and skill levels to engage in a variety of tennis activities, promoting physical fitness, sportsmanship, and values of fair play. Through organized tournaments and events, we aim to create a welcoming environment that enhances the overall well-being and joy of our members. 

We always believe that the dedicated and tennis-loving volunteers bring an impact to our community of tennis and beyond. Volunteers are expected to support tennis players before, during and after the events. On hitting sessions, they act as hitting partners to coach tennis learners or hit balls with them. For other tennis events, they help to organize and promote tennis activities or charitable fundraising. At tournaments they welcome our players and guests, set up/clean up tables, usher the players and viewers, work at the registration table and keep scores. , We hope our volunteers with their professionalism and passion for tennis will leave a lasting and positive impression on the people and communities served across Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC.
