Sumner Citizens Association

SCA hosts events geared towards children such as the Halloween Parade and the Street Fair.  Depending on the event, volunteers might be asked to do any of the following: setup, monitor children, distribute food/other to event attendees, paint faces.  SCA also maintains public spaces including the entry islands and traffic circles.  Occasionally volunteers may be asked to work alongside a Master Gardener to help with efforts like planting native, pollinator-friendly plants, or removing invasive plants.
