The Enlighten Project

The Enlighten Project is a youth-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of underprivileged youth in youth shelters, juvenile detention centers, and impoverished neighborhoods through improved access to education and other necessities.

All volunteers are passionate about education inequality and its effect on marginalized students. They work tirelessly to create opportunities and empower these children to break the cycle of poverty. There is a wide range of roles and responsibilities, including fundraising, management, outreach, and tutoring. Each volunteer is responsible for growing The Enlighten Project's impact and improving the educational experience of others.
