JOSIE'S CLOSET, INC

Our mission is to empower and support students in Maryland Community and Title 1 schools by providing new essential clothing items to promote school readiness, academic achievement, and wellness. We strive to eliminate clothing insecurity which will improve self-esteem and promote a sense of dignity among those we serve. By working collaboratively with individual, local, state, and corporate sponsors we intend to make a significant and sustainable impact on the lives of individuals and families in need.

1. Clothing Sorting and Organizing: Help organize and sort donated clothing items to ensure efficient distribution. 2. Assistance During Events: Support during special events such as clothing drives, back-to-school events, or distribution days. 3. Outreach and Advocacy: Assist with spreading awareness about Josie's Closet in the community, advocating for its mission. 4. Fundraising Support: Help organize and participate in fundraising activities to ensure financial sustainability. 5. Community Engagement: Engage with local communities to better understand their needs and ensure the organization is meeting them effectively. 6. Event Planning: Contribute to the planning and execution of events aimed at supporting the organization's goals. 7. Transportation Assistance: Help transport clothing donations or assist in delivering items to schools.
