Rockville Volunteer Fire Department

For over 100 years, volunteers have provided fire, rescue and emergency medical services to residents throughout the City of Rockville and Montgomery County. Volunteers are trained and work alongside career fire and rescue personnel in the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service. Nearly 200 of our members are qualified fire and rescue personnel - firefighters and EMTs/Paramedics. The RVFD maintains four stations in the Rockville area and responds to over 20,000 incidents each year.
